The market hall has fresh meat, fruit and vegetables and bread and many food traders are now taking orders for Christmas.
The mezzanine has a whole range of shops selling unique, hand-made gifts including jewellery, photos, glassware and lots more.
And if you’re searching for something really unusual then the ‘vaults’ is the place to go. Down in the basement you’ll find a truly eclectic mix of little shops selling everything from antiques and collectibles to hand-made jewellery, toys, clothes and books.

And if all that isn’t enough, the market also has four cafes to rest your weary feet after all that shopping and enjoy a cuppa, a snack or a delicious meal!
The market will be open for late night shopping every Thursday until 8pm.

If you are planning a special occasion or are looking for that unique venue to host a music gig or show, Scarborough Market Hall & Vaults could be the perfect location
We are able to accomode 300 visitors on the main market hall, 100 on the Mezzanine and 60 in the vaults so a space for large and small groups

Local artist Gabrielle Naptali created the sculpture Archway for the Children (Portal to the Way) to highlight the amount of plastic left behind on Scarborough beach and attitudes towards 'throwaway' single use plastics. It can be seen in Scarborough Market Hall during World Wellbeing week from Monday 24th June.
The national Totally Locally #FiverFest campaign runs from the 8th June until the 15th June 2019 and plenty of offers can be found from a range of independent retailers across Scarborough.
