Market Vaults resident local artist Nick Tindall has created an acrylic painting of Scarborough RNLI’s all weather lifeboat, the Frederik William Plaxton to raise funds for the Charity.

The painting which shows the lifeboat passing Scarborough Lighthouse in a choppy North Sea on its way back in from a call will be auctioned later this year with all proceeds from the sale being donated to the Scarborough RNLI.

Nick is a keen supporter of the RNLI and learnt to sail himself a few years back. Nick’s artwork is inspired by the east coast where he lives and also Scotland where he likes to go on holiday.
